I think that this song is really speaking out to supporting others,"The nights are getting darker (hold my hand)
And there's no peace inside (hold my hand)" says that together we can stand together and unite on one front. U know the saying " united we fall divide we fall" Lets all follow that and unite. Become friends or even BFF's.

Research #2
When I researched the trafficking of Haitian children. I dug deeper and looked up the article on http://www.sirs.com/ . I realized that many of the smugglers were able to get past border patrol because they pay off the guards. Many people in Dominican Republic are saying that they have doubled there efforts but actually I think that they have not done anything.
The reason why I say this is because I think the government is in a tough time and without this industry they cannot make any money. They know their government will dry up without it. Statistics show that there has only been two convictions since 2006. In the last 4 years there should of been more.
As a young child in the US, I realize that could be any one of us and if we don't stand up for those who can't then we may as well be part of the trafficking. It is like watching someone get beat up and you don't help the police find the criminals.
In this video I chose to show some images of the Haitian children. At the end there are two websites that you can go to and donate to help them.

Research Topic #1
When I started to really dig deeper into looking up all the real problems that many gays had with acknowledging themselves and were afraid to tell anyone bout what they were.
Being that scared to have to try and pretend to be something you are not. I think that it causes personal problems. Then mostly you start to wonder what did I do wrong, am I really that bad. Self-hate starts to erupt inside you and you just want to stop it forever.
You are torn between committing suicide and knowing the huge grief and pain you would cause your parents plus yourself.
In an article on (http://sks.sirs.com/cgi-bin/hst-article-display?id=S44-4241-0-323&artno=0000297482&type=ART&shfilter=U&key=bullied%20gays&title=Coming%20Out%20in%20Middle%20School&res=Y&ren=N&gov=N&lnk=N&ic=N)
The reason why this article is included because it really shows that once you except yourself you should be free to be you, and no one controls who you are. Just because your sexual orientation doesn't make you the butt of all jokes and the school punching bag.
I the article the boy says" I definitely lost some friends,” he said, “but no one really made fun of me or called me names, probably because I was one of the most popular kids when I came out. I don’t think I would have come out if I wasn’t popular.”
See that states that if this boy didn't have this "popular" status he would of hid who he really was/is and then it would only come back to haunt you. He is somewhat scared to admit that without a status above popular, you shouldn't admit to being GAY.
This video shows some of the things that happen to kids when they are being tormented. I support the message at the end.

songs for Justice
" Bloody sunday"
By: U2
I can't believe the news today
Oh, I can't close my eyes
And make it go away
How long?
How long must we sing this song?
How long? How long?
'Cause tonight, we can be as one
Tonight
Broken bottles under children's feet
Bodies strewn across the dead end street
But I won't heed the battle call
It puts my back up
Puts my back up against the wall
Sunday, Bloody Sunday
Sunday, Bloody Sunday
Sunday, Bloody Sunday
And the battle's just begun
There's many lost, but tell me who has won
The trench is dug within our hearts
And mothers, children, brothers, sisters
Torn apart
Sunday, Bloody Sunday
Sunday, Bloody Sunday
How long?
How long must we sing this song?
How long? How long?
'Cause tonight, we can be as one
Tonight, tonight
Sunday, Bloody Sunday
Sunday, Bloody Sunday
Wipe the tears from your eyes
Wipe your tears away
Oh, wipe your tears away
Oh, wipe your tears away
...Sunday, Bloody Sunday...
Oh, wipe your blood shot eyes
...Sunday, Bloody Sunday...
Sunday, Bloody Sunday...Sunday, Bloody Sunday...
Sunday, Bloody Sunday...Sunday, Bloody Sunday...
And it's true we are immune
When fact is fiction and TV reality
And today the millions cry
We eat and drink while tomorrow they die
...Sunday, Bloody Sunday...
The real battle just begun
To claim the victory Jesus won
On...
Sunday, Bloody Sunday
Sunday, Bloody Sunday...
I think that U2, is correct about speaking out about the massacre that occurred in Ireland, I think that it is wrong that innocent people were killed because they were standing up for whats right. The military were wrong for killing people who did not threaten them in any way, shape, or form.

Scared to Death
Everyone looks at me like I'm ugly
I may be different and I know
But I'm not afraid to show it
Not afraid to stand out
Everyday people talk about me
I feel like I have done something wrong
I am tortured at school
And I hate the fact that I'm gay
People say to me
Appreciate your life
I feel like I could die
I want to run away
My emotional change hurts
My head is confused, and I can't see
People corner me and beat me
I'm afraid for my life
Help! Help! as I cry out
No one helps me
I run and run
But I can't hide
The torment is around me wherever I go
EXCEPT ME PEOPLE, I'M A HUMAN JUST LIKE YOU !!!!!
SO DON'T BULLY US, JUST SUPPORT US.

Media Immersion
In the world today there are many issues, but the main issue in Africa and Asia are poverty. Many people live in slums littered with trash, bugs flying around everywhere. The people that live in it though may be infected. This is how the poor people's lives are. Many women and children are destitute and have no place to eat, sleep, and do other things that they used to do.
The poverty in East Africa is outrageous because it is covered in filth also many bugs that could carry diseases or worse . When i see these pictures it makes me hurt inside and that to makes me want to advocate for food. The UN has been trying to send food, hold large charity events and more. Many organizations such as Amnesty International sings about children being dropped off, having to fend for themselves.
While many people spend billions on unnecessary objects or things why can't they donate to make other countries much better because the other countries need it more. Lots of people are sitting in rubble, or going through mile high garbage bags, being Eco-friendly might help them out.
On http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNvz7TSRUyQ there is a video of what certain governments do to their people. They have their had destroyed.
In conclusion poverty is no joke and people must stand together to fight it.
